Fusion between men and animal is part of the Inuit tradition.
Lois picked me up at Winnipeg airport in 1997 and before heading to her home we visited an exhibition of Inuit art. So when I made this painting it was clear for me I had to mail her the work.
The Dutch writer Rudy Kousbroeck regretted he could not transform himself in a cat.
I agree, see also next item. For Western culture this door of perception is closed, but not for the Inuit!
